All right Leroy! As a guy with M.D I get sick and have to start over, and I
always start low reps all again. Normally I go eight sets per body part
which I am able to go, six shoulders. I always love the advice you give,
it’s always true, like you say “you’ve lived it!” God Bless.

I’m not disagreeing with the 8 to 12 rep range, But I don’t think heavy
weights causes problems if you warm properly, rest adequately between
workouts, use proper form, aren’t on steroids, and you eat properly.

multiple sets. I don´t get it.
Building muscle is not an endurance sport.

Thanks for the enzyme tip Leroy. Let me make sure I’ve got the routine
advice straight though. For the 50 year old intermediate guy, you recommend
full body workouts every other day with 1 exercise (3-6 sets) per bodypart.
Is that correct?

i do cheat curls sometimes, with a lot of weight, and it doesn’t feels like
im doing something that will give me pain in the future… idk why he says
that doing heavy training will make you feel pain when older…

i train heavy but it doesnt feels anything un-natural… o.0? in fact i
feel like the body ask for me to go heavy, i feel good when doing heavy
